Third year korean was focused on more formal grammar patterns that can be used in written Korean or something you'd find in readings, articles, or on news. Nevertheless, it was very useful.

I learned a lot about Korean culture and was able to grow my skills in reading and listening in Korean.

Learned vocabulary and grammar but also focused more on cultural/historical aspects. Went over grammar patterns very briefly and skipped some of the simpler ones. Short tunaround time to learn vocab before quizzes. I learned some new grammar concepts and a lot of new vocabulary. The speaking sessions gave me the opportunity to practice the grammar and vocabulary while gaining more confidence in my speaking abilities.

I developed my Korean speaking, writing, and reading comprehension abilities. I learned a lot of relevant vocabulary and grammar. Through the readings and class conversations, I learned how to converse in Korean to talk about relevant/current topics. I also learned a lot more about traditional Korean culture (Korean holidays, historical figures, folktales, etc.) that I had not been exposed to much as a Korean-American.
