I learned so much about how to apply economic modeling to the American economy. I really enjoyed spending time on understanding how economic phenomenon, such as rent seeking, plays out in the political economy. It was such an interesting course, and covered so many important topics.
I learned generally about the structure of American economy as well as theories of rent-seeking, the median voter, collective action, and Pareto efficiency.

I learned about the various aspects of the US economy and political environment. I learned about many theories including principal-agent model, Downsian model, collective action theory, median voter theory, rent-seeking, various types of rent, and much more.
