General Chemistry I - Rec · Chemistry
A crash course into basic chemistry - moles, orbitals, molecular orbital diagrams, spectroscopy and coordination complexes
I learned about stoichiometry, states of matter, nuclear properties, electronic structures of atoms, periodic properties, chemical bonding, molecular geometry, quantum mechanics, and atomic theory.
Discussing about Gen Chem topics that were not clear
I learned about elements and the interactions between them.
She is the worst TA out of all of the TAs. 1 Columbia University: Arts & Sciences Fall 2023 Course: CHEMUN1407_002_2023_3-GENERALCHEMISTRYI-REC : CHEMUN1407_002_2023_3 - GENERAL CHEMISTRY I - REC Instructor: Xavier Roy
Went more in detail in topics that needed clarification
My Chemistry Recitation provided a deeper insight to the topics covered in lectures. This gave be a basic understanding of General Chemistry.
I learned a lot about particle and light behavior, electrons positions in an atom, molecular structures and orbitals etc. I also learned how to effectively takes notes during lectures. The recitation was an excellent space to ask questions and do practice problems. I became more familiar with all the topics discussed in lecture during this time. I also learned how to collaborate on problems with my peers.
I would reccomend this chemistry recitation particularly because of the Teachers Assistant assigned to this course.
I dropped this course. 1 Columbia University: Arts & Sciences Fall 2023 Course: CHEMUN1407_003_2023_3-GENERALCHEMISTRYI-REC : General Chemistry I Recitation - Section 003- CHEMUN1407_003_2023_3 - GENERAL CHEMISTRY I - REC Instructor: Xavier Roy
