General Chemistry I - Rec · Chemistry
A crash course into basic chemistry - moles, orbitals, molecular orbital diagrams, spectroscopy and coordination complexes
We reviewed a lot of the topics from class in preparation for exams!
I learned about stoichiometry, states of matter, nuclear properties, electronic structures of atoms, periodic properties, chemical bonding, molecular geometry, quantum mechanics, and atomic theory.
Recitations somewhat followed Chem I lectures.
Other than the quizzes I'm not sure most people would attend this, which suggests that its not adding value. I do see the value in smaller group sessions in addition to larger lectures. But I think without structure (and possibly greater collaboration with the professor), these are not materially additive to our learning. Could there be more structure -- possibly even scheduled topics?
Discussing about Gen Chem topics that were not clear
I learned about elements and the interactions between them.

Go to rec, do your quizzes, study and ask questions, reap the reward of your hard work. Its fun if you make it fun.
Went more in detail in topics that needed clarification
