Pretty low. Just show up to the lab every week and do your work. Pre-lab is probably like 2-3 hours, which you can do the day before your lab takes place. The hardest part for me was the lab exam because they will sometimes throw in trick questions, but just make sure you know everything on the lab manual and in-class worksheets.
This class is primarily about ecology, evolution, and physiology (yes, I know the topics seem somewhat disjointed), but it is honestly not that bad! That being said, if you are genuinely interested in Biology and attend the office hour once a week and spend three days reviewing the slides before the test, you are good! The exams are fair and sometimes kinda detailed, so you do need to pay attention to every slide. Also, a quick hint about doing Professor Corradino's weekly homework is that you should always work in a group, and the discussion process will help a lot. P.S.: Highly recommend purchasing a textbook or renting it at the lending library for this class.

She makes almost all of the assignments that are supposed to be individual, group assignments merely because she's obviously above grading too. This can be a good and bad thing, but mostly make sure that you have your own copy of all the work, it comes in handy when studying.
He's just a chill guy. Sometimes his grading can be harsh (imo) but he is willing to help and is super nice. The labs are also pretty fun and you get to learn a bunch of cool techniques.
Dr. Corradino is a marine biologist, and if that's an area you are interested in, definitely take her class because she will cover a lot of it during the class! Her class is very informative, and it introduces you to many new concepts in ecology, and most of the class activities are pretty fun. She does take attendance, so it is important to go to class on time. Plus, Dr. Corradino is a very nice person, so if you have any questions about biology ( finding a job, internship, or future career goal), feel free to talk to her, because she is very resourceful and is always willing to help!
Professor Casey is such a great and funny guy. His lab section is very chill and not hard to do well in. He gives clear instructions and goes over some stuff from Intro to Organismal/Evol Biology Recitation. Highly recommend choosing his lab section!
Melissa is a really great lab instructor and I would recommend her to anyone! She is very knowledgeable about the class material and she is really young (she just graduated Barnard I think) so she can help you out with course planning. She gives amazing feedback on all our work and is a really nice grader.
