First half of multivariable calculus (Calc III): partial derivatives, optimization, Lagrange multipliers
Vectors in dimensions 2 and 3, complex numbers and the complex exponential function with applications to differential equations, Cramers rule, vector-valued functions of one variable, scalar-valued functions of several variables, partial derivatives, gradients, surfaces, optimization, the method of Lagrange multipliers.
I learned how to do multiple variable calculus, specifically vector functions and partial derivatives.
I learned about the multivariable as well as derivatives. It was an extended version of Calculus I.
Many people have to take the course for their major, but I don't know if I'd recommend this section specifically.
This class is straight forward, it might be challenging if you struggle with math like I do, but the expectations are clear and the work manageable.
Only do this course for a hard requirement: not necessary if you can substitute for other classes
I'd recommend if its a requirement; don't take it if you don't need to.
