I learned about how to apply the knowledge that i've acquired during undergrad. I experienced the effectiveness of a well functioning collaborative work environment. I learned specifics about the topic that I focused on and how it relates to the other components of our project. The interconnectedness between the resources that a building consumes and the natural environment was something that stood out to me.

I learned more about resiliency issues in NYC, methods of pursuing qualitative/quantitative research, and how to manage a team/balance communication with clients.

Such a great class - one of my favorite ever at Columbia. So much real world experience was provided! I am leaving this course a better leader and team member than I was before.

Wow. Take this class with Radley Horton. I got extremely lucky to work with the incredible team I did. I think this class is a great way to learn about how to apply sustainable development concepts in real life with a real client.

I learned how to work with, advise, and/or consult an organization on an element of their sustainable development. On my particular team, we worked with an organization about regenerative agriculture.

I learned tremendously about the field in which I did my project

I do not even know where to begin—I have probably learned more in this course than any course at Columbia. From learning to navigate a semester long group project, to experiencing real life client interactions, to strategizing how the project was going to take course over the semester, I have never grown so much as an individual. This was THE most beneficial class I have taken.
