Courses Qiao He teaches

What students said

MATH UN2010 · Spring 2025

covers matrices, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, canonical forms, and applications. This course provides and introduction to writing mathematical proofs.

MATH UN2500 · Fall 2024

further exploration of linear algebra and differential equations in the context of optimization

MATH UN1101 · Fall 2023

I learned more about the building blocks of calculus which I hope to apply to my major of Economics.

MATH V3020 · Spring 2026

one of those professors that are obviously very smart but cannot teach or explain math for students to understand. lecture notes are always messy and he would get frustrated in class when he got confused. lectures are optional and honestly are not that helpful. to me reading through the textbook is definitely an easier way to understand the content. his lecture notes, homework, and exams are 3 completely different things. so unless you are really comfortable with the basics of number theory i would not recommend this class

MATH UN1101 · Fall 2023

I learned almost nothing with Qiao. He went far too fast and wouldn't adequately review subjects.

MATH UN2500 · Fall 2024

I mainly learn linear algebra, differential equations, and optimization techniques to solve the problem.

MATH UN1101 · Fall 2023

There was alot of knew knowledge that occurred in the course. The Professor has a heavy emphasis on advanced trig. - -

MATH UN2010 · Spring 2025

Great work by the teacher to demonstrate the fundamental linear algebra concepts.

MATH UN2500 · Fall 2024

Review of Linear Algebra and Multi concepts, solving convex / concave optimization problems with Lagrange Multipliers, solving ODEs and optimization problems over ODEs.

MATH UN1101 · Fall 2023

I learned a lot about limits and derivatives
