I loved this class!! I learned a lot about not only the history and political culture of so many countries but also about current events. Regarding nearly every country there was someone from there or who had experience/understanding about the place and contributed well.

Overview of the CP literature on citizen and politician's political behavior. Learned about key topics, theories, and methods in CP.

Fascinating course that allowed me to have a more comprehensive, complex and broad perspective of Latin America.

I read about different topics in comparative politics and learn about how different literatures interact and connect with each other.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to explore Latin America from both a historical and contemporary perspective in this course. It serves as an excellent introductory experience, providing not only historical knowledge, but also the ability to apply political science theories to practical cases. The course strikes a great balance between these aspects, providing a comprehensive understanding of the region's dynamics.

It was a really fantastic introduction to the history and politics of a lot of Latin American countries from the start of the 20th century onwards. If you want to understand Latin America and why its political environment looks the way it looks, this is a great course.
