This course is broad and covers a wide range of geologic topics from hydrology to minerals. The material is a general introduction to lots of different fields and is focused more on qualitative understanding than technical. My highlight of the class was a fieldtrip that we took to look at different rock formations outside of the city.

This course offers a well-rounded introduction to the various studies of Earth's physical/geophysical processes.

Basics about the solid earth. Topics such as geology, intro geophysics, hydrology etc.

I gained a huge appreciate for the world around me. I learned so much about the history of the Earth and the systems that allow us to live on it.

We learned a broad range of material relating to the solid earth such as plate tectonics, geochronology, rocks (igneous, metamorphic, sedimentary), hydrology, and much more.

I learned about everything relating to solid earth, ranging from glaciers to rocks.

I learned about volcanoes, earthquakes, plate tectonics, the formation of Earth's crust, hydrology, inside the Earth, many earth processes involving its formation including the timeline of Earth, and more.
