Review of concepts from across multiple past classes (ODEs, Linear Algebra, Calculus) to then take them a step further by applying them to optimization problems
I learned how to solve many different types of optimization problems.

Course combined a lot of different mathematics notations, equations, solutions and methods. Hence, there is a deeper understanding of the connections between different types of mathematics. Topics included: linear algebra, multivariable calculus, optimization problems, differential equations, control theory.
Although the course moves quickly and the content, it is manageable. I would probably only recommend to someone who needs this class to fulfill a requirement for their major/concentration.
