Weekly discussion posts w/ chill grading, a couple of essays (between 1200 and 1700 words I think?), I don't remember if we had a midterm but we did have a sit-down final, he had a different format than the standard one but explained it and reviewed really well. Not an easy A class per se but he was a very solid teacher and grader.
Standard lit hum workload but he does give quizzes. There not bad and are actually good practice for the actual midterm and final. He usually tells the class beforehand which is also very helpful.
all the normal books. 2 papers, 1 midterm, and final. really light, some reading quizzes that go into participation grade
I had him just spring semester, as my first prof only taught 1 sem. My first prof had been really passionate but kind of strict, so I wasn't expecting any easy prof in Webre necessarily. I thought he was a great discussion leader, gave really good historical context, and graded fairly. He was super understanding when it came to extensions/absences, and was overall a kind man with interesting insights.
Very nice and straightforward professor. Sets pretty clear expectations for the class and is a fair grader. Gives background lectures on the more historical content from books and overall leads discussion well. No complaints, I think this is a great section to be in.
Genuinely such a good teacher. talks about random stuff tbh. not really a lit hum class, more of a history lesson, but interesting nonetheless.
Not too bad - A few papers, a midterm, a final, some quizzes
Awesome professor! I was sad he didn't teach spring semester Lit Hum too! As a result I had Jude and another Lit Hum professor so I can compare them. Jude was by far my favorite. He really cares about his student and is a fair grader (read: not necessarily an easy one). He was also super interested in the historical periods surrounding each of our texts which I appreciated because it gave more context to what we were reading. Overall, I think he is a very intelligent and approachable teacher.
standard lite hum. Reading, 2/3 short essays, 1 long essay + midterm and final
Great professor, I highly recommend taking his section, if you can find it. Nice guy, great at leading the conversation and extremely approachable. Coursework is standard lit hum. Not much to say there.
