I learned Basic Brazilian Portuguese, conversational and formal.

Over the course of a semester, I learned a lot of Portuguese. Learned vocab but primarily focused on verb tenses, which are essential to speaking/understanding the language. I also learned about Brazilian culture!

History and culture surrounding favela and carnaval, literary analysis skills, reading and writing skills, and grammar/vocabulary

Useful vocabulary, verbs in present and preterite, some culture of the lusophone world.

I learned a good basis of Portuguese grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills.

I learned a large range of Portuguese vocabulary, both formal and colloquial. I learned how to have basic conversations with native speakers and write basic compositions. We also learned a pretty decent amount of verb tenses for an introductory course
