I learned the basics of calculus objectives: limits, derivatives, and integrals. We reviewed functions and some necessary pre-cal at the beginning of the year.

Limits, derivatives, and the basics of integratoin.

The first couple weeks was all review of precalc. We learned derivatives, integrals, chain rule, Lhopital.

That I need to be self-reliant in learning the topics in a complex way. I can't rely on TA'a or office hours. Khan Academy and youtube were my bestfriend in this class.

As I had previously taken AP Calculus BC, this course just served as a refresher on the topics. 2 semesters of AP Calculus definitely outweighs the amount of learning in the class, but it's a good class to start with a good foundation of Calculus. There were many topics that were not discussed, but the basics were.

We had a brief precalc review before learning about limits, derivatives, and integrals.

I learned how to take integrals and derivatives of complication equations.

I learned about derivatives, related rates, and other calculus topics through word problems.

Limits, continuity, derivates, first and second derivative tests, indefinite and definite integrals.

Everything that was taught in this course was covered in AP calc, and through no fault of the professor, I learned nothing new. It's more of a commentary on Columbia's reliance on AP scores does not necessarily translate to a student's actual abilities.
