I learned a lot about perspectives that weren't always taught in class, like about women or enslaved people of Ancient Greece, and also learned how to source ancient works.

The discussion session dissects the readings and is based around guided discussions that help you to properly interpret the primary sources and isolate what you need to know from them.

I learned the history of the Greek world from the beginnings of Greek archaic culture around 800 B.C. through the classical and hellenistic periods to the definitive Roman conquest in 146 B.C. with concentration on political history, but attention also to social and cultural developments.

I learned about Ancient Greek history, culture, and politics through analyzing a variety of primary and secondary sources.

I learned about Ancient Greece, particularly the social structure, the economy, and the wars that took place.

I really like this class, but if you aren't at least kind of interested in history, it will be very boring and heavy to you.
