Having not really conducted math research before, this has been a challenging but rewarding experience. I've learned so much about my topic, but also about reading math research papers.
multi-differentiable functions multi variable functions solving min max for multi variable functions
A whole lot about calculus and mathematic foundations as well as practical uses.
Multivariable calculus topics such as vectors, partial derivatives, and a lot of important things. Critical thinking and application of this skills was also important.
I learned a lot of calculus topics from coordinate systems, to multi-variable functions and other topics such as vectors and lines and planes and the relationships between them.
Lines, Planes, Points, Vectors (dot + cross product), 2-D coordinates, 3-D coordinates, arclength parametrization, multi-variable functions and their limits, optimization, partial derivatives
Learned how to do calc quickly, learned the fundamentals for calc, how to visualize the math
Take this course! He posts lecture notes which are better than any notes I can take and are amazing to go over before a test! You will learn Calc III easily!
Professor OH is great and helps his students in every way possible and offers lots of extra credit opportunities.
I'd assume most people are taking Calc III as a requirement for a major. I'd highly recommend Prof. Oh for this course!
