I don't think professor is well prepared for this class. He often struggle explaining the concept he wants to go over. He uses a lot of mathematics as tools to understand economics, but he doesn't explain the math part well. It makes the students are confused about the math part, and don't really learn the economic part of this class. The homework more like math proofs instead of economics course. I can feel that he wants to give a student a broad vision of the concept of economics, but you cannot consider doing it if you cannot explain the basic concept of the class.

ECON UN3211 · Spring 2023

Challenging course that requires substantial outside preparation which is made difficult by the fact that there is no textbook. The weekly problem sets are time consuming but are actually helpful in making sure you stay on track with the topics covered

ECON UN3211 · Spring 2023

do not take this course unless you're very confident in your proof skills
