Human anatomy through the dissection of a fetal pig, cow heart, and cow eye. Also the processes involved in digestion, circulation, and respiration as well as the order in which they occur. We learned histology, how to identify different cells though a microscope and their individual functions. We also did a couple of labs focusing on DNA mapping and genetics.

Everything! This lab was fantastic because Dr. Hazen, Renzo, and Adam cared about learning over all else. They were flexible and very kind and approachable. I learned how to understand anatomy thoroughly

We began with gross anatomy and histology of a fetal pig. We then moved on to DNA by mapping restriction enzyme sites and examining how recessive/dominant genes are passed between generations of fruit flies.

Easy A course. first class i can just ENJOY learning and not stress about grade. Dissection of pig and memorization of anatomy can be fun. histology is a bit hard, labs are okay.

Learned about anatomy of a fetal pig and how it related to a human's, histology that is the way a tissue looks under a microscope and how to differentiate tissues. Learned about physiological systems and how they relate to anatomy. Learned about basic lab techniques and models for genetics and electrophoresis.
