Applied Linear Reg Analysis · Statistics
lots of practice with linear regression, programming in R
Lot about stats, regression, model fitting and assesment
linear regression, logistic regression, odds ratios
I learned somewhat about linear regression and various ways of computing it through R.
Simple and multiple linear regression, regression with categorical variables, inference
Linear Regression - a little theory behind it and a lot of applications.
Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression, Polynomial Linear Regression. All homeworks require R, but none of the exams do. Professor Ronald Neath is the goat. Such a nice professor and his lectures are incredibly well organised. Exams are very reflective of the homeworks he sets.
Literally nothing. Actually how to have the patience to look up code on SAS.
Learned about hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, prediction intervals, linear regression, f tests, data transformations, etc. General linear regression things + a bit of R.
I would recommend it to students who want more practice with stats programming but aren't stats majors
