Data Analysis for the Social Sciences · Quantitative Methods In The Social Sciences
A range of very practical data analysis skills, how to carry it out in R, and how to interpret the results.
Mostly Stats parts. Especially, this is the course for the one wants to learn advanced linear regression. So, pushing one step further from OLS, this course handles various types of advanced linear regressions. This course has some group projects, but I would regard this as a way of making friends in stats, not a heavy burden.
statistical analysis for regression models, including OLS, logit, PLM, fixed effects, etc
Linear regression, the Gauss-Markov Assumption and Asymptotics, logit and probit, First Differences Analysis, etc.
Great foundational course with stellar instructor
learned various methods to analyze the data depending on the questions asking very insightful and digestible example to use data analysis to understand social phenomena
-how to create various models, from simple to more complex -how to critically analyze my results
Many statistical models their applications and interpretations with great examples that were discussed in lectures interactively.
I learned the statistics behind various types of regression models and how to evaluate them. I also learned a little bit of coding in R.
many data analysis programming involved as well as statstics explained by R/Python
