I was introduced to a variety of methodologies and theories when approaching the "science" of Jewish Studies. The course began by laying out the problems and debates within field and then by examining different periods of Jewish history within the framework of the various approaches.

I learned a lot about different aspects of Judaism, specifically different methodologies to approach Judaism. I also really improved my writing skills.
