I have been able to follow news headlines and search articles in BCS, although mainly for bibliographic purposes. I can carry on some conversations, and have a much better understanding of the use of cases, although sometimes they are surprising. Context is very important, and this class has provided plenty.
The teacher is great, but I think students need to come in with specific connection to the language that extends outside of class.
