This course'll teach you how to research, write, edit, and publish a massive paper with a time constraint with the assistance of an editor, which is an absolutely invaluable skill and experience. I think this process is really challenging, but a great experience for graduating students. Would recommend writing a thesis to hone your writing/research skills and your time management skills.

I mean, you have to take this to do a thesis, and I recommend doing a thesis.
