What Roboforbes stores, why, and who else sees it. Last updated 5 August 2026.
Your Google account. When you sign in we receive your name and school email address from Google, and nothing else. We use the email only to identify your account and to check it ends in @columbia.edu or @barnard.edu. We never receive your Google password.
What you save. The classes you add, the degree programs you declare, the requirements you tick off, and the term plan you build. This is the app working; without it your plan would not be there when you came back.
Questions you ask. Questions put to the advisor are stored so the conversation holds together and so we can see how much the service costs to run.
Friends. Who you are connected to, and requests you have sent or received.
Bug reports. Anything you send through the feedback form, including a screenshot if you attach one.
Usage. Which pages and features get used, so we know what to fix. Counts and events, not a recording of your session.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. There are no advertising or tracking pixels on this site. We do not build a profile of you for anyone else's benefit.
Supabase stores the data and handles sign-in. Google handles the sign-in itself. Anthropic receives the text of questions you ask the advisor, in order to answer them. Railway and Cloudflare serve the site. Each sees only what it needs to do that job.
Nothing, until you add someone. A friend request has to be accepted by both sides before either of you can see the other's saved classes or term schedule. Your degree audit, your questions to the advisor, and anything you have saved privately are never visible to another student.
Email [email protected] from your school address and we will delete your account and everything attached to it. No form, no retention period we are hoping you forget about.
