A lot of interesting things about the subject matter, really loved it.

I learned about the various competing legal and political ideologies and theories at play during the Weimar period. This was complimented by contextual historical knowledge through brief lectures at the start of class before an open discussion with all of the students. Likewise, we attempted to draw lessons from this period and apply them to our own political and legal contexts today.

We studied the conceptual debates that occurred during the period of Weimar democracy. This helped us trace the collapse of that constitution from the perspective of intellectual history while also exposing us to theoretical arguments that are still relevant.

I learned about the Weimer Constitution. I learned Constitutional Theory. I learned about the popular political movements at the time. I learned about the most impactful political players during the time period.

Communicational and better writer skills

I learned about Hannah Arendt's thought through her seminal works including Origins of Totalitarianism, Human Condition, Eichmann in Jerusalem, and more.
