Columbia College Core · Columbia University
rly reasonable. few easy quizzes, light reading, one or two papers (forget). but so good. truly felt like i learned a lot out of this class and had such an awesome time.
absolutely stellar; danny is the goat. phenomenal lectures, interactive, still think abt his class one year later and miss it :(. he cares so much about his students and overall an awesome person
Two relatively easy quizzes, unnecessary readings for each class, one paper, and one final project. very easy A
Danny was a fantastic professor, possibly my favorite thus far at Columbia. He's young and cool and might have a crush on him but he is also the most passionate, knowledgeable, funny and understanding professor I have encountered. I learned so much about from his class and never would have imagined how interested I could be in art hum. absolutely take if you can
I absolutely adore this man, his teaching style, his passion for the subject, EVERYTHING about him. I'd take more classes with him if he was teaching more, and I'm not even an art history major. If you have the chance to have him as your professor, PLEASE do so. You won't regret it, and it'll make you fall in love with art. He is so incredibly knowledgeable and honest and kind, and his ability to tell stories in such an intricate and enthralling way makes him such a great professor. Truly the highlight of my day was this class.
A paper, a presentation, and a final project. 2 quizzes and 5 discussion posts throughout the semester. Good amount of work where I felt that I was actively learning something without dedicating my entire life to Art Hum.
Absolutely loved Danny's class!!! His presentations are incredibly accessible yet full of information. Class conversations were lively and insightful. All around a phenomenal experience.
