I have learned a lot of new words, phrases, and grammar. This class has greatly helped me improve my Vietnamese and knowledge on the culture as well
A lot of vocab as well as a general knowledge of the Vietnamese language itself (i.e. the linguistics behind the language---how different words interact with each other to create differed meanings). Reading, grammar, and listening skills are also worked on fairly frequently both within class and via homework. There are particular assignments which centre largely around learning, understanding, and situating oneself within Vietnamese culture, too.
I learned a lot of new grammar lessons during this course and gained confidence in my presentation skills and reading comprehension.
i learned most about sentence structure, which is super useful when speaking and writing. I also learned alot of vietnamese culture and cultural norms
