Very little, the lab became optional after a few weeks and so I did not attend most session
I am not sure the statistics taught in this course are applicable for all ecological studies. While this counts as one of the required stats courses for the E3B masters program, I would recommend looking into the specific class content with your study objectives in mind, and making sure the stats taught align with your research.
This is for the LAB section only. They weren't really helpful in my opinion. I never really had questions at the time of the lab, and always had questions later. Instead of a lab, maybe expanded office hours for TAs?
In this lab I learned the fundamentals of programming in R and how to conduct statistical analyses using large datasets.
I have already filled this in for the main course section!
Coding is an important skill regardless of what field you are in, and this is a nice overlap between ecology and environmental sciences and coding.
In this lab section we reviewed in more detail concepts introduced in class and began our lab exercises together.
