I learned a lot about how interconnected the world is.
I learned about globalizations effects both negative and positive in the context of Fashion and Textiles.
Through textiles, I learned how to address and relearn globalization. I learned about the evolution and movement of textile materials and people from the 15th century to the modern era and how this movement generally contributes to modernization and globalization.
We learned about the history of globalization from the lens of fashion. But overall we learned more about how we can study this super large intimidating subject from a specific thread–and gain more from that view
